This fifties styled Blackpool wedding was filled with fun and adventure including running in the sea! Becky & John's amazing wedding started with both bridal and groom prep, followed by two photoshoots - one for the bridal party and one for the groom and groomsmen - before the ceremony. This is something I would definitely recommend as key photos can be taken before the ceremony, leaving you more time afterwards to be with your guests.
The bridal party travelled to Blackpool's unique Wedding Chapel by horse drawn carriage for their wedding ceremony, followed by a tram ride up and down the promenade. The seaside theme was everywhere - from the button-hole windmills to the canapes on the tram! We were lucky to be able to capture all the fun along the way, stopping off at Blackpool Pleasure Beach for some cool bride and groom photographs.
The family and group photo's took place on the promenade, in a mixture of traditional and fun poses, making it a very natural and relaxed experience.
One of the many highlights for me as a Blackpool wedding photographer was getting the wedding party onto the beach and the bride insisting they all go in the sea for some amazing and unique wedding photo's! Sometimes the best wedding photographs are those unplanned moments, captured as they happen, instinctive and real.
